All Town Board Meetings are open to the public.

Pre-Board meetings are normally scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on the Wednesdays before each monthly Town Board meeting;  as specified at the January organizational meeting.

Monthly Town Board Meetings are normally scheduled for every third Wednesday of each month and start at 7 P.M. The 2016 meeting dates are: January 20, February 17, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16, and December 21.

Town Board Meetings are held in the Court Room of East Greenbush Town Hall, 225 Columbia Turnpike,  East Greenbush, NY, 12061.

Jack Conway, Supervisor

Jack Conway was elected Town Supervisor for a four-year term beginning in January 2016.  Jack and his wife Jo Ann have lived in Hampton Manor since 1988 where they raised their sons Brian and Kieran. They are the proud grandparents of Brian and his wife Carissa's daughters Kayla and Julia Conway.  Jack and Jo Ann recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

Jack has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Brown University and has conducted scholarly research on politics and political conflict in New York City, Cork and Kilkenny City, Ireland and Belfast, Northern Ireland.  He was an assistant professor of Anthropology at Skidmore College, the University of Albany and Connecticut College.  His areas of teaching expertise include politics and government, comparative religion, symbolic analysis, social theory and Native American Studies.

Jack worked for fifteen years in State and local government, including twelve years in New York State's Office of Community Development in the Division of Housing and Community Renewal.  He is a retired member of the Public Employees Federation (PEF).

In 2010, Jack was appointed to the Town Board of Ethics and in 2011 was elected Chair of that board.

Deb DiMartino, Town Board Member

Deb DiMartino was elected to the East Greenbush Town Board for a four-year term beginning January 1, 2014.

Deb is a lifelong resident of East Greenbush.  She graduated from Columbia High School and took courses at Hudson Valley Community College.  She and her husband of 37 years, Frank, have raised their children, Chantuá and Justin in the East Greenbush community and were involved in many EG sports activities throughout the years.

Deb has been employed by the East Greenbush Central School District, for 28 years, where she still currently works at Red Mill School.

Deb has been designated Town Board liaison to the Parks Task Force, East Greenbush Central School District and the Community and Recreational Services Department.

She is looking forward to working with and serving the community of East Greenbush.

Mary Ann Matters, Town Board Member

Mary Ann Matters was elected to the East Greenbush town board for a four-year term that commenced January 1, 2014.

A graduate of SUNY Empire State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mary Ann has 32 years of experience in state government and currently serves as a health program administrator at the state Department of Health.

Mary Ann has been designated town-board liaison to: the Ambulance District, the Assessor’s Office, Fire Protection,  the Justice Court, and the Ethics Board.

A resident of the town for 30 years, she and her husband, Rick, reside on Bonnie Court.

Tina Tierney, Town Board Member

Tina Tierney was elected to the East Greenbush Town Board for a four-year term that commenced January 1, 2016.

Tina earned a BA in Psychology from Siena College. Previous employment includes community-based mental health and foster care programs.  Currently Tina is employed in the field of program evaluation. Her experience at a state and national level includes literature review, evaluation design, survey development, and data analysis for presentation and reporting.

A resident since 1999, Tina and her husband are currently raising their two children in East Greenbush.

Tina has been designated Town Board liaison to: Planning and Zoning, the Town Clerk, and the East Greenbush School District.

 Tom Grant, Town Board Member .

Tom Grant was elected to the East Greenbush Town Board for a four year term that commenced on January 1, 2016.

Tom earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Plattsburgh and his graduate degree from SUNY Albany. After a three decade career in New York State Government, which included service as Parole Commissioner and Legislative Director, he now works as a Mediator, Restorative Justice Practitioner and Technical Consultant specializing in issues relating to criminal justice.

A resident of East Greenbush since 1987, Tom and his wife are the proud parents of two adult sons.

Tom has been designated Town Board liaison to the: Police Department, Dispatchers, Town Court, Library and Receiver of Taxes Office.
