Ginny O'Brien, Town Board Member

I am pleased to be returned to the Town Board. I had served here prior to being elected to the Rensselaer County Legislature. Over the years, I have been active in many facets of the life of my home community.

I was a founding member of Greenbush Child Care Inc., and the East Greenbush Business Alliance.

As a Town Board Member I instituted the Parks Task Force. This group of dedicated volunteers and myself initiated Saturday in the Park, Music in the Parks and developed Onderdonk Park for seniors. I am proud of my support of Library Development in our Town. Spotlight on Youth, Proud to Be in E.G., Youth Peer Court, and Drug Free School Zones are other programs I have initiated.

My record is one of positive contribution to the vitality of our community. I remain committed to both positive outcomes and programming. I invite participation from constituents as this is a critical component of service in elective office.

I am an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. My husband, Michael and myself have grown children and enjoy sharing time with our grandchildren.
