The Town of East Greenbush is proud and excited to unveil its new website. Recognizing the increasing importance of communication through the internet, the Town undertook the site redevelopment project with a view toward improving and increasing resources available to town residents and visitors. In addition to a greatly improved user interface and navigation, the site includes many new resources to facilitate business and interaction you may have with the Town government.

History of East Greenbush

The history of the Town of East Greenbush dates back to 1628 when historians believe the first settlers arrived in the area. Today, East Greenbush has retained its small-town roots, while also serving as an important suburb of the City of Albany and home to many retail, corporate, and manufacturing businesses.
