NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE 2008 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND

HEARING OF COMPLAINTS – TOWN OF EAST GREENBUSH, RENSSELAER COUNTY, STATE OF NEW YORK

(PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 506 AND 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor for the Town of East

Greenbush, Rensselaer County, State of New York has completed the 2008 Tentative

Assessment roll and a copy thereof has been filed with the Department of Assessment,

where it may be examined by any person interested therein until the fourth Tuesday in May, 2008.

            The Assessor or designee will be in attendance with the 2008 Tentative

Assessment Roll at he East Greenbush Town Hall, 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer,

New York on:             May 17, 2008 from 9:30AMuntil 1:30PM

                                    May 19, 2008 from 9AM until 11AM and 1PM until 3PM

                                    May 20, 2008 from 9AM until 11AM and 1 PM until 3PM

                                    May 21, 2008 from 4PM until 8PM

            In addition to the above times and dates, the Tentative Assessment Roll will be

open for inspection Monday through Friday at the Department of Assessment from

9AM until 4PM

The Board of Assessment Review will meet at the East Greenbush Town Hall, on

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in the Town of East Greenbush to hear complaints in relation to

assessments of real property, during the hours of 4PM until 6PM and 7PM until 9PM. 

Once the Grievance Application is filed with the Department of Assessment, an

Appointment will be made for you to appear before the Board of Assessment Review. 

Applications should be filed by May 20, 2008.
