The East Greenbush Department for Youth Services and Recreation proudly announces its final 2008 Music in the Park Concert

Old #7 String Band (Great Country Western Music) will be performing thisTuesday night, August 26th at 6 pm.

I hope to see more of the many wonderful people that I’ve met at our previous concerts throughout the past five years here. Anyone who has kids, grandkids, spouses, better half’s or just would rather come alone, is invited to come to see Old #7 String Band.  Al from Teagan’s will be there serving hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, sausage and pepper hoagies, soda and water.

Ask your family, friends, co-workers, and anybody you'd like to please drop by and enjoy the music and some of AL’s Good Cookin’. He even plans on having some yummy desserts this week! It was awesome on Tuesday night when "Dena Peckham” was there.  Hopefully, the weather will hold up this week and it’ll be a great night.

So come on down to Onderdonk Park at 5:45 so ya’ get a good parking spot. We are looking forward to having a big crowd!

For more info,  feel free to call 477-4775.

Each summer, the East Greenbush Department for Youth Services and Recreation organizes a concert series that takes place every Tuesday night in August from 6 to 8 pm.  The concerts are held at Onderdonk Memorial Park, located on Hampton Avenue. This concert series, called “Music in the Park”, encourages friends, families and neighbors to join together in celebrating the summer season by enjoying the music, the outdoors, and the company.

All are invited to attend these concerts. You may come just for the music, or you may stroll around Hampton Manor, enjoying the music.  This is also a great way to show your pride and support for the East Greenbush Community.  This year many community organizations may take the opportunity to conduct bake sales to help benefit their local organizations.

If you have any questions concerning the concert series, feel free to call 477-4775.

Below you will find a list of the dates and bands for “Music in the Park.”

Feel free to clip the schedule below on your fridge. Come, bring the family and have dinner.

Bring a chair or a blanket as we are hoping for a full house this year.

As always, we welcome the line dancers to come and enjoy the evening.
