The position of Director of Parks and Recreation is open !

We have a few candidates, people we know or have heard about, but we thought we should open it up to everyone in Town and do as formal a search as time will allow.  I thought we'd change the process a little and make it available to everyone.  As the forthcoming Liaison to Parks and Recreation,  I've been offered the latitude to try something new... so here is what we're looking for:

Duties and tasks will include but not be limited to:
Oversee Saturday in the Park, formation of a Fourth of July Celebration,  Summer Camp,as well as other new functions and activities for residents, and a vision for recreational activities for residents.  

Physical Requirements:
Stand upright for 1 hour, Light running, Lift 50 lbs, Applicants must understand that the position for a qualified candidate can only be assured for up to two years.
