2008 Easter Egg Hunt PDF Print E-mail

The Town of East Greenbush Department for Youth Services and Recreation, in conjunction with the East Greenbush Youth Commission, present the 2008 Easter Egg Hunt with support from Columbia High School.  This year’s event will be held Saturday, March 22nd at the East Greenbush Town Park, located on Elliot Road.  Starting at 10:30 a.m., East Greenbush residents may enjoy disk jockey music, provided by Conway Entertainment, the whimsical antics of Brisky and Dippy Dap the clowns, and may visit with the Easter Bunny.  The hunt begins at 11:00 a.m. and parking is limited, so participants should arrive at the Town Park no later than 10:50 a.m. as this hunt takes approximately twenty minutes to complete.  This year, participants will be split into three hunt groups:  2-4 year-olds, 5-7 year-olds, and 8-10 year olds.  Each participant should be able to collect approximately 10 eggs each.  Eggs are stuffed with candy and small toys.  At least one egg from each hunt group will have a grand prize coupon.  Following the hunt, residents may enjoy light refreshments in our park pavilion.  Participants need to bring their own bags or baskets for egg collection.  For more information about this event, feel free to contact the Department for Youth Services and Recreation at 477-4194.
