2009's OUTSTANDING young East Greenbush Citizens Recognized!

 The Town of East Greenbush Youth Commission, Price Copper, Police Benevolent Association, and the Department for Youth Services and Recreation are proud to announce this year's recipients of the Annual Spotlight on Youth Award.  Nominated Award winners this year were Kaila Collins, Sandra Bender, Carolyn Bugbee, Jacob Godgart, Ryan Hogan and Jared Benjamin.  The award winners were honored at a ceremony on May 29^th at the East Greenbush Town Hall.

Acknowledgements are extended to the East Greenbush Price Chopper, the East Greenbush PBA, and those who nominated this year's honorees.          

General Information about the Spotlight On Youth program

Each year, we reach out to the community, to the schools, to everybody and ask you to help us identify our outstanding young citizens who have contributed to the quality of life in our community through a single act of kindness or multiple accomplishments throughout the year.  Nominees must be 11-18 years-old and live in the Town of East Greenbush.  Individuals cannot be nominated by a parent or guardian.

If you know someone who meets the above criteria, fill out the portion below and attach supporting testimony detailing your candidates accomplishment(s).

For 2009, the East Greenbush Department for Youth Services and Recreation requested that all nominations be submitted on or before Friday, May 25th by 4:30 p.m.  All entrants were  honored at the annual “Spotlight On Youth” ceremony.
