Don't Obstruct Outfalls!
As part of the Town’s continued efforts related to operation, maintenance, and compliance of the storm sewer system, or MS4, we are reaching out to residents to ask that you don’t obstruct stormwater outfall pipes. Please see the brochure for more information.
Outfalls are points of stormwater discharge to streams, lakes, and wetlands. Improper dumping in the outfalls can negatively impact the functioning of the Town’s storm sewer system, which can lead to flooding and increased maintenance costs.
DPW will be picking up yard wastes during this year’s Fall Clean Up on October 26th, November 2nd, November 9th, and November 16th. During other times, the Town’s Transfer Station, located at 246 Ridge Rd, is available for proper yard waste disposal.
