Message from the Receiver of Taxes
As of January 1, 2023, Rensselaer County has contracted with a company to mail the Town and County Property Tax Bills. 2023 tax bills will be mailed on December 29, 2022. If your taxes are in escrow and you receive a bill please forward it to your bank as they are responsible for timely payments on your behalf.
Once available, tax bills can be viewed at: egov.basny.com
The Receiver of Tax Office will be open from 8:30am - 3:30pm for the month of January.
