Notice of Public Hearing - 5/13/2020


PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the TOWN BOARD of the Town of East Greenbush will hold a public hearing on May 13, 2020 beginning at 5:45 P.M. to consider the following matter:

The Board will consider the final draft MS4 report. The Town of East Greenbush’s required municipal separate storm sewer (MS4) draft 2019-2020 report is now available at the Town’s website, set forth below. As a regulated MS4, the Town implements a stormwater management program to attempt to reduce the discharge of pollutants and is required to report annually to the NYS Department of Conservation.  The goals of this program are to protect water resources and satisfy the requirements of the Environmental Conservation Law and the Clean Water Act.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 202.1, issued by Governor Cuomo on March 12, 2020, and advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials related to the COVID-19 virus, the TOWN BOARD will convene the public hearing remotely as follows:

The Public Hearing will commence at 5:45 P.M. and shall be conducted through the use of Zoom, a web-based video conferencing tool with local, desktop client and smartphone applications that will allow Board members and the public to participate electronically and remotely by audio and with or without a video connection. The meeting will also be live streamed on the Town’s YouTube Channel.
