The Town Board of the Town of East Greenbush will hold a public hearing on August 14, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. at East Greenbush Town Hall, 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144 to accept public comment on a proposal to build a Shared Services Law Enforcement Training Facility with a Firing Range in the Town of East Greenbush. The proposed location is off Ridge Road behind the Transfer Station. This facility will be jointly operated by the Towns of East Greenbush, North Greenbush, Schodack, and the City of Rensselaer. Note that this hearing is not part of the SEQRA review of this potential project; it is designed so that the Town Board can get public feedback before any formal proposals are submitted.
