The Highway Department will be completing paving preservation projects on Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday, September 8th. The following streets will be completed at this time: Bridle Place, Donna Lynn Drive, Dover Drive, Stirrup Drive, and Yorkshire Drive.
It is essential that residents cooperate by parking all vehicles off the roadway during paving operations and any residents that use off-street parking spaces must park 2 ft. behind the curb line.
Please refrain from putting loose piles or bags of brush in the roadway as it will slow down paving operations.
There may be minor delays but we will make every effort to accommodate any and all reasonable requests for assistance in leaving or entering your property. We ask that you please plan to use alternate routes during paving operations and allow for extra time if possible.
As always, we appreciate your anticipated cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. We apologize for the short notice this time; however, the weather conditions sometimes reduce our ability to plan our jobs in our usual efficient manner.
It is important to note that this is only the start of the paving operations that will take place this year. We have several other large scale paving projects that will take place in the upcoming months; however, once we receive firm dates from our contractor we will be sure to notify residents in advance.
If you have any questions and/or concerns, please contact the Highway Department office 518-477-7296.
